Please note the following policy only applies to standard bookings. If bookings are made with a discount code or special rates, please see the specific deposit and cancellation policy that applies to that specific offer.
We require a 50% deposit on the day of booking and the balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Please note that we have a 10% Cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 days and more before arrival will be liable for a 10% cancellation fee of the total booking value. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival forfeit 100% of the total booking value.

Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival directly due to Covid-19 will be handled case by case and given a free rescheduling/change of dates.

CHILD POLICY
La Chataigne is a working wine farm set along the Franschhoek River with a number of unfenced swimming pools on the property and is unfortunately not safe for children. La Chataigne can therefore not be held responsible for children during their stay on the farm. Parents bring their children at their own risk and are fully responsible for their children and their well being during their stay. Please note that both the river bordering the farm and the Orchard Pool have no safety fencing and an adult should be present with their children on the farm at all times.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Checkin from 14:30. Checkout by 10:00.
No Pets allowed.
Free wifi.
All of our cottages are self-catering and we do not offer breakfast or any restaurant facilities on the farm.
For long stays Towels are changed every 3 days and Linen every 7 days, unless requested otherwise.
Full daily housekeeping can be organised in advance at an additional fee or R350 weekdays and R600 weekends depending on availability.
